Your reply is you don't have a disk or you haven't tried it. Repair Permissions Open Disk Utility, in the Applications > Utilities folder, and choose Help > Disk Utility Help. My DVD/CD drive didn't work out of the box on the late June model 15" unibody macbook pro I bought, just shows, can't rely on nothing nowadays. Show this post schtelI can't see why not. Anyways let us know of your findings and see if we can you help you.

Show this post I bought a new battery on eBay about 18months ago for £50. If you reduced the burn speed, that would mean the drive is failing to burn at it's maximum speed.
